Road safety survey aims to improve kid safety

Calling all parents of children aged 3 to 9 years! Queensland University of Technology’s Centre for Accident Research and Road Safety – Queensland (CARRS-Q), researchers need your help to complete an online survey which will contribute to a new road safety campaign.

The Take My Hand road safety campaign aims to reduce the number of children injured or killed when crossing or near roads.

Parents are asked to share their perceptions, experiences and beliefs on children’s road safety. Survey responses will then guide the development of the new awareness-raising campaign.

To thank participants for their input, CARRS-Q are offering the chance to be included in the random draw for 1 of 6, $50 Coles/Myer shopping vouchers (QUT ethics approval no. 1500000248).

For more information about CARRS-Q, visit the CARRS-Q website or visit the survey page for further information about the project.
